New Baby Shower Card

Image
"Baby & Flower" Handmade Card "Baby & Flower" Handmade Baby Shower Card                                                 I was hired to create this card for a new mommy. The "Baby & Flower" card is similar to the "Let's Celebrate Baby" Card Collection. I decided to add a flower, instead of balloons. If you have read this blog or have purchased one of my cards, you know I love to use buttons in the middle of flowers :-) "Let's Celebrate, Baby Girl" handmade baby shower card

Sorority Congratulations Cards

Image
"Sorority Crossing" (Zeta Phi Beta Edition)custom handmade cards If you are a part of sorority or fraternity, you may be familiar with the challenging process of pledging. When it is all said and done, you feel like you have accomplished something great. The 4 cards above were created for 4 new members of the Zeta Phi Beta sorority. Their actual names are hidden for privacy. I designed each girl based on the member. Their sorority names and numbers are listed at the bottom of the signs that they are holding. I had a lot of fun creating these.  You can visit http://www.ruthiesgreetings.com/ if you would like me to design a sorrority, fraternity, birthday, etc for you.                                    Follow Ruthie's Greetings on Twitter @RuthEsGreetings.com

Keeping God in Your Success

Dear Ruthie's Greeting Blog Readers, Over the last three years of creating cards, the Lord has shown me that I can do more than I could ever imagine, through Him. Philippians 2"3 says, "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves". This bible verse was one of the bible verses that was highlighted in Bible Study this week. I carry that in my heart as a reminder that God is in control. I am not. There are times where I have no idea how a design is going to come out, but the customer is always pleased. I know that is God :-) This blog post is just to give credit to the one above. I thank Him for giving me the gift of making cards. It is not only a business, but a chance to display the wonderful works of the Lord. "And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey"-Matthew 25:15

New Valentine's Day Handmade Card

Image
Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! Here is a card that I created a few days ago for my customer's child's grandmother. The grandmother is the type of person that does everything for everyone else, but rarely has time for herself. My customer wanted to display that in the Valentine's Day above. I used small envelopes for the "Card of Thanks"  cards. So, I thought it would be nice to create one for this card.  The letter is at the bottom :-)                        Please visit http://www.ruthiesgreetings.com/ for your custom and general cards                                  Twitter @RuthEsGreetings.com                                   Facebook:  Ruthie's Greetings
