"Mommy's Flowers" & "K's Profile Pic" handmade birthday cards I have been very busy creating cards. It can get hectic sometimes, but I love it! There is nothing like being able to imagine a design & create it. The look on my customers and their recipients' faces is priceless. God is good, and I know that He has a hand in it all. We all have been given gifts. "Blocks Birthday Boy" Handmade Greeting Card Finished! I hope his mom likes it :-)

"Birthday Flowers" handmade card I love this card! I was hired to create this card for a friend's pastor's birthday. The colors for her church are purple and gold. So, these were the colors that I used for the card. Because my customer didn't have any specific requests for the card, I decided that "simple but pretty" would be a a good theme for her card. The flowers are drawn and outlined with metallic purple paint. I used a layering technique for the buttons. I thought the cross in the front was appropriate.  My customer provided me with a customized message for the inside.

"Jammin" On My Birthday" Handmade Card I created this card for my niece. This card was a lot of fun to create, but it was also a lot of work. I used my own hand drawn cut-outs. The mp3 player is also 3D.  I thought this was cool for my neice because she loves music. The whole mp3 generation is dominating lol. There are no more records or cassette tapes. She loved the card!

"Old Style First Birthday" Handmade Card I was hired to create this card for a friend's nephew. I love the colors because it gives the card a "back in the day" look :-)

"My Brother's Birthday" Handmade Card http://www.ruthiesgreetings.com/birthday_2 Here is another origami shirt card that I made for my brother. I used a rubber stamp for the background. He loved it!

"Blue Bell Dress" (Birthday) Cards http://www.ruthiesgreetings.com/birthday_2 I was hired to make this card for a friend of a friend who was turning 25 years old. Her favorite color was blue. I chose this design because it was something that was elegant and age appropriate. I used a bluish purple textured card stock for the dress. I think the pattern on the ribbon and the rose is just enough against the plain blue background. This dress pattern has become one of the signature patterns for Ruthie's Greetings . I will post the other designs soon.

"Winter Girl" Birthday Card Soon to be posted on http://www.ruthiesgreetings.com/ I know it's the summer time lol, but I wanted to highlight this card.  I created this card for a friend's birthday, and she loved it :-) I created this character about three years ago. I decided to finally make it into a card. I was going to use a computer font for the words, but I thought that script writing was the best fit. I will be working on more cards with the "Winter Girl" character. If you would like a customized card with her using different colors, please comment or visit http://www.ruthiesgreetings.com/ . So MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

"Birthday Panda" *Soon to be posted on http://www.ruthiesgreetings.com/ This card was a lot of fun to make! I previously created the design with the panda holding the birthday cake, about three years ago. Originally, the birthday cake had yarn on the top to make a pattern representing the icing. I thought it was cool to revisit this idea for this 8 year old son's birthday card. His mom loved it! This card is also using hand drawn, cut, and outlined pieces.Yes, the eyes move when you move the card lol. We can customize a card for you at http://www.ruthiesgreetings.com/ !

Puppy Love Birthday" Neopolitan Icecream Inspired ;-) The dog and her features are all raised from the paper. So you can feel the spots, hearts, tongue etc. if you run your hands over it. You gotta love handmade cards! Neo's eyes are a metallic silver color. I woke up one morning with the idea of a Neopolitan icecream dog in my head lol. I sketched the idea several times on paper. Here's what I've come up with! Inside: "My little girl is one year older, One year prettier, And one year smarter. This also means that I have been blessed for another year ♥ Happy Birthday" * *The inside can be customized for you.  Please send me a message if you want to purchase it.
