I was hired to create these cards for twins. I was given several photos of the two and picked things that I wanted to include in the card. I was told that one was more of a tomboy than the other. So, I created her with pants on the right. Her pose and outfit was based on her picture. The color was that twin's favorite. The card on the left was a mixture of two pictures that I saw. Her original dress was a bit longer and was white & purple. Her hair was in a ponytail. My customer wanted lime green (her friend's favorite color) to be incorporated in the card. So, that's what I did. I also added the jewelery, which is metallic, into the cards. They measure 8 1/2 in by 10 1/2 in ( a little smaller than a standard sheet of paper) and were included with gift bags.
If you are a part of sorority or fraternity, you may be familiar with the challenging process of pledging.
When it is all said and done, you feel like you have accomplished something great. The 4 cards above
were created for 4 new members of the Zeta Phi Beta sorority. Their actual names are hidden for privacy.
I designed each girl based on the member. Their sorority names and numbers are listed at the bottom of
the signs that they are holding. I had a lot of fun creating these.

I hope that you are enjoying your weekend. I know that I have not posted on here in a while, but I have still been busy at my craft :-) We are living in trying times, and it is important that we remember God's Word. So, I've brought back the Ruthie's Greetings Bible Verse bookmarks :-) They are laminated to protect them from smudges. The following handmade bookmarks are now available on the Ruthie's Greetings website for purchase:
Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! Here is a card that I created a few days ago for my
customer's child's grandmother. The grandmother is the type
of person that does everything for everyone else, but rarely has
time for herself. My customer wanted to display that in the Valentine's
Day above. I used small envelopes for the "Card of Thanks"
cards. So, I thought it would be nice to create one for this card.
The letter is at the bottom :-) Please visit http://www.ruthiesgreetings.com/ for your custom and general cards Twitter @RuthEsGreetings.com Facebook: Ruthie's Greetings
