 "25th Birthday With Style" Handmade Birthday Card   This Ruthie's Greetings Character card was created for a friend. I thought it would be cute for a 25 year old. Her name is Tiffany, so I put her nickname on the woman's purse. Her favorite color is purple. I love to use buttons, so I included those on the flowers. I think they give the card a nice touch. What do you think?

"Twin Vibes" Custom Handmade Cards I was hired to create these cards for twins. I was given several photos of the two and picked things that I wanted to include in the card. I was told that one was more of a tomboy than the other. So, I created her with pants on the right. Her pose and outfit was based on her picture. The color was that twin's favorite. The card on the left was a mixture of two pictures that I saw. Her original dress was a bit longer and was white & purple. Her hair was in a ponytail. My customer wanted lime green (her friend's favorite color) to be incorporated in the card. So, that's what I did. I also added the jewelery, which is metallic, into the cards. They measure 8 1/2 in by 10 1/2 in ( a little smaller than a standard sheet of paper) and were included with gift bags.  Don't forget to visit http://www.ruthiesgreetings.com/ .

It's funny to see the hustle and bustle of everyday life, here in the U.S. We have become a society that is always on the go. We check our cellphones, our clocks, and our pace. But,Thanksgiving is a time where we stop and check our blessings :-) I like to thank God for mine everyday.                                                    I am thankful for each and everyday that I was allowed the chance to wake up. I am thankful for growth. I'm thankful for those Thanksgiving Eves that my grandmother "Ruth" stayed up making pies and cakes for the feast the next day. I am thankful for God providing me with  creative outlets  (Ruthie's Greetings & writing) to express myself. I am thankful for the smiles that I receive. My friend bought me a baby Christmas tree for my birthday. It's funny because I had been wanting a plant lol. But this was even better lol. I was hired to create this card for my customer’s daughter’s grandmother, affectionately named “Coo Coo”. I thought it would be cute to do a Cuckoo Clock as a play on words. It was a nice birthday card for a grandmother from her baby granddaughter. I thought the pastel color choice was appropriate. My customer loved it! Cuckoo clocks are sooo classic! The store "Anthropologie" had a Cuckoo clock display. Absolutely wonderful! I like the fact their displays are earth friendly :-) They use recycled materials. Too cool. "Pink Birthday Trio" Handmade Custom Card Pack These birthday cards were all created based on the recipients' pictures, provided by my customer. I really enjoyed creating these! The two cards on the right were created for twins. My customer wanted to be able to put the cards together to equal one picture. She wanted her friends to be able to frame the cards. She loved them! I thought about the "Mother's Day Rose" handmade card, and decided to use the same idea. The pink background has a raised ridge texture. The shirt does also. "Gift for You" Handmade Valentine's Day Card I also created this card this year. My customer wanted a playful, loving card that she could give to her boyfriend a.k.a "Stanky Doo" lol.   "Valentine's Day Giraffe" Handmade Card  I was hired to create the card for Valentine's Day this year. I really enjoyed creating this one. It was for a 2 year old and her mom, to the baby's grandmother. I previously created a birthday card using giraffe's. I like it, so I thought it would be cool to use the giraffe's for this card.
